what?

Clothing & accessories that are conscious without the crunch. "Crunch" being a derogatory term for typical eco fare, which tends to be high on substance but low on style.  Here at Yomono, you can have both.

explain.

Each piece is made with the world in mind. Only "conscious" materials are used, including vintage stock, deadstock, organic & recycled fabrics. yomono is vegan-owned and no animals or humans are exploited. ever.
what about wool?
Deadstock and recycled wool are occasionally used. New organic wool is sourced only from responsible suppliers.

aesthetic.

I tend to mash up different eras, past and present. I am largely inspired by classic film and vintage clothing, especially the 20s and 50s-60s. I make clothing for people who care about style, substance, and social consciousness. And of course, those who don't take themselves too seriously.  ;)

where?

Handmade in Dallas, TX with occasional help from local fair wage workers.
what items are handmade?
All corsets, bags, and clothing unless otherwise noted. Those rare items that are not handmade are sewn locally by fair wage workers, and clearly denoted.

why?

Because a future without social consciousness, dignity for all living things, and respect for our natural resources is (quite literally) no future at all. The world won't be there tomorrow if we don't take care of it today.

who?

Yomono is owned and operated by its creator, Charlotte Elliott - Texas native, vegan, artist, and nerd of many disciplines. Everything is designed and made in these two hands.
