it can be rough out there for a one-woman design studio & factory, so here are my policies to help prevent any ungainly exchanges.
it's just me, guys.
I do everything myself, with only occasional help from local fair wage workers. Just about everything is handmade by me. I design, make the patterns, grade the sizes, cut & sew, and ship to you, the lovely customer, all by my lonesome. So please understand that made-to-order items take 2-3 weeks processing time on top of ship time (unless otherwise noted). If you are being amazing and ordering more than 2 custom items at once (woohoo for me!) please add one additional week per item to the processing time. I am just one person, after all.
i don't do bridal.
I hope your special day is exactly how you've always dreamt it! But your custom bridal wear deserves undivided attention, multiple meetings, and timelines I can't always commit to, so I just can't offer that at this point. If you are buying one of my garments for something bridal-related, go for it. But be aware that standard processing/shipping times apply and I will not do alterations.
custom order? sure! within reason...
If you are looking for a larger or smaller size than what I offer in the store, shoot me an email at email@example.com or through the contact page and I'll give you a price quote & processing time. (It takes a whole new pattern for a new size, after all.) However, I do not do custom designs and I am not a custom tailor. I put a lot of effort into my designs, so that's what I offer. Usually I am able to get additional colors of the organic fabrics, so feel free to ask. If it is made with salvaged or vintage materials, then what you see is what I've got.
sometimes i go on vacation.
I travel for work & play several times a year, so I will temporarily take my shop offline while I am gone. In the weeks leading up to fashion shows or big events, I may also take my shop offline or increase the processing times.
above all, be cool.
I will always treat you, the customer, with respect. I expect the same in return. If there is a problem, I will do everything in my power to make it right. That said, I am not your doormat. I reserve the right to cancel & refund any order if you become disrespectful or verbally abusive. I do not reward bad behavior. But I know you'd never do anything like that, right? ;)
